BC CADET NAMED CANADA’S MOST OUTSTANDING ARMY CADET

The Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) and the Royal Canadian Legion are pleased to announce that Cadet Chief Warrant Officer Aaron Giesbrecht, from BC and member of the 2812 Seaforth Army Cadet Corps has been named Canada’s most outstanding Army Cadet and is the recipient of the 2016 General Walsh Memorial Sword

2016 YOUNG CITIZENS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENT

The Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) and The Young Citizens Foundation (YCF) congratulate Cadet Chief Warrant Officer Marshall Filiault, a member of the 1112 Windsor Regiment Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps in Tecumseh, ON who has recently been named recipient of the $5,000.00 Young Citizens Foundation (YCF) Scholarship.

2016 GERARD BUCKLEY CADET FUND (GBCF) 

The Army Cadet League of Canada and Mr. Gerard Buckley are happy to announce that the following cadet corps are the recipients of the 2016 Gerard Buckley Cadet Fund. Each corps will receive a $3,000.00 grant.

The winning corps are:
•2715 Metropolitan (E&K Scot) RCACadet Corps -Tecumseh, ON
•2520 71st Field Battery Army Cadet Corps -Brandon, MB
•2332 Major Holland VC RCACC – Ottawa, ON
•2590 Gallipoli RCACC- Corner Brook, Newfoundland
•3064 Rocky Mountain Rangers RCACC – Williams-Lake, BC

The National Office of the ACLC accepts application for this grant until December 31 annually.
