Fredericton Cadet Named Canada’s Most Outstanding Army Cadet

The Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) and the Royal Canadian Legion are pleased to announce that Cadet Master Warrant Officer Lucas Emery of the 242 Fredericton Army Cadet Corps in New-Brunswick has been named Canada’s most outstanding Army Cadet and is the recipient of the 2015 General Walsh Memorial Sword.

2015 YOUNG CITIZENS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENT

The Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) and The Young Citizens Foundation (YCF) congratulate Cadet Master Warrant Officer Zachary Barnes, a member of the 2562 Queen Elizabeth Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps in Newfoundland and Labrador who has recently been named recipient of the $5,000.00 Young Citizens Foundation (YCF) Scholarship.

2015 GERARD BUCKLEY CADET FUND (GBCF) 

Gerard Buckley and the Army Cadet League of Canada are pleased to announce the four Army Cadet Corps who are the recipients of the 2015 GBCF:

  • 3080 – 1 CER RCACC, Burns Lake, BC
  • 2913 – Corps de Cadets Bourg-Royal, Charlesbourg, QC
  • 2295 – Royal Winnipeg Rifles CC, Winnipeg, MB
  • 2402 – GGHG CC – Toronto, ON
