Army Cadets in the Northern Territories
In Canada’s North, the Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) has three Branches which generally correspond to each of the three territories – Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Because of transportation routes and other factors, a particular cadet corps may not be allocated to its territorial branch.
To support the delivery of the cadet program the ACLC Branch Presidents work closely with:
• DND counterparts – Zone Training Officers (ZTO) and Area Elemental Advisors (AEA) who are part of the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Northwest) – RCSU (NW)
• community support organizations for each Army Cadet Corps in their territory
