Winner of the 2019 Young Citizens Foundation

The Young’s Citizen’s Foundation (YCF), via the Vancouver Foundation & The Army Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) are proud to present the 2019 recipient of the YCF scholarship, CWO Evelyn Wrobel of the 2919 Grey and Simcoe Foresters Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.  Cadet Wrobel, will be pursuing her post-secondary studies in Fitness and Health Promotion at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.

Each year, the YCF, via the Vancouver Foundation offers a $5000 scholarship to a deserving Army Cadet to help cover tuition fees at the post-secondary institution the recipient will choose to attend.  For more information about this scholarship, refer to Policy 17.3 on our https://www.armycadetleague.ca/awards-grants-and-bursaries/ page.

With the aid of each branch office, the League ensures financial, accommodations and transportation support for programs and services not provided by the Department of National Defense to more than 18,000 Army cadets
