Hi I’m Evelyn Wrobel, a former army cadet with the 2919 Grey and Simcoe Foresters RCACC in Barrie, ON.
During my time as an army cadet I earned my basic parachutist wings, excelled through the ranks becoming the Cadet / Regimental Sergeant Major for 2919 RCACC, was the 2019 Outstanding Army Cadet of Canada and the recipient of the General Walsh Memorial Sword.
I joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2022 as an Infantry Reservist with the Queens Own Rifles of Canada. Currently I am an active paratrooper with the Queens Own Rifles of Canada as a member of 1 platoon – the units jump platoon.
Outside of military, I graduated from Fanshawe College with a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion and currently work as a volunteer fire fighter with the Township of Springwater.
