While visiting Ottawa with his Army Cadet Corps, Cadet Sergeant Noah Lavergne of 2647 Ocomocto Royal Canadian Army Cadets had the opportunity to experience some VIP treatment courtesy of the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, LGen Paul Wynnyk. Sergeant Lavergne was awarded the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff Commendation for administering life-saving first aid to a fellow cadet in medical distress during the summer of 2017, and is the first Cadet to receive this prestigious commendation. Well done Sgt Lavergne! You’ve done the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, and the Canadian Armed Forces proud!
